Mostly outside, sometimes off-grid. I work with computers but do not particularly enjoy them. Above all else, I consider myself an artist. I find the intersection of engineering, technology, and art fascinating. Writing my first scifi novel. Gardener and farmer. Drone pilot. Learning oil painting. Playing guitar and piano. Exploring and caring for my beloved temperate rainforest and all the creatures who live here. I love cats, jumping spiders, snakes, and wildflowers. Rainy, stormy days are the best weather. I care about permaculture as much as permacomputing — interested in low-tech, low-energy solutions.

This site is hand-written HTML and CSS. Type is set in monospace throughout. Colors are tuned for reading in low light. No analytics, no fonts beyond the one, no tracking of any kind. It runs off a tiny server tucked away in the southern Appalachian mountains.
